It’s not all about wine! Calling nature and adventure lovers to our spectacular setting.
Just 5 minutes from the Guesthouse is Banhoek Conservancy, a protected haven of hundreds of km of hiking and cycling trails through this rich mountain scenery of waterfalls, well maintained trails, bird and wildlife. Hikers are welcome for free, and cyclists pay a daily permit. This is one of South Africa’s most exemplary mountain bike trails, starting from the epic Skyfall descent down into the Boschendal farm.
The Banhoek Conservancy was established by a group of farmers to protect the environment, to uplift the community and to re-establish a balance between human activities and nature.
